At identySOL we provide software development services for mobile and embedded devices. We provide services in Java, J2ME and C/C++.
We undertake projects on T&M basis or fixed price development depending on scope and size of the project. To help smaller product
companies to benefit from development outsourcing we offer a base + shared revenue so they dont missout on the benefits of outsourcing
while it is still economical and with lower risk.
With our project managers based here, along with some developers and larger development team in India we offer both options. So we can
develop software here in the UK for smaller projects, while delivering bigger projects in offshore model.

Our core expertise in mobile devices is with J2ME and we develop for Java enable phones such as Nokia, Blackberry, Samsung, Motorola G24 etc. Most mobile
devices support Java. We can also write apps on G30 devices from Motorola.
With embedded devices we have solid experience in PIC, MSP430, C51 family, Atmel and other similar devices. Our expertise is mainly in
embedded C.
We also have very good experience of networking protocols such as TCPIP, UDP, MODBUS and application protocols such as HTTP, XMLRPC, SOAP etc.
The hardware connecting interfaces such as RS232, RS485, Bluetooth, Zigbee and WiFi. So we can deliver comprehensive services.
Development Case Studies
Development of DESFIRE Firmware API for PIC
With good understanding of cashless payment systems, identySOL was brought in to develop the API for interfacing with DESFIRE readers.
The API provided an easy to use interface which would have otherwise taken months of development as they had no expertise in this area.
identySOL stepped in and did it in just one month.
Design and development of a datalogger
This project entailed full design and development of a very low power data logger. From electronics design to firmware development and
also a Desktop application to communicate and gather data from the logger. The project was done using MSP430 series of controllers.
The desktop application was built on Java. A next version with very high capacity memory will be developed soon.
Backend solution for EV charging stations
With great expertise in system integration and low as well as high level protocols, identySOL was called in to develop
the full backend solution for monitoring and controls of Smart Electric Vehicle Chargers. The project is still in development and
preliminary version has attracted lot of attention also helping our client secure more orders.
DEX protocol on G24 Java
This was a POC to see if DEX protocol which is widely used in Vending Machine Controllers could be implemented in J2ME on a
G24 Java module. We not only completed the POC but did that in record time of just 5 days starting from scratch. The DEX implementation
is part of a much larger System Integration which will materialise in couple of years for thousands of connected Vending Machines.
